Happy Birthday Lillian!

Our new little one was unexpectedly born on November 17..She weighs in at 4 lbs..I had an emergency c-section..ouch! I am so happy to have another daughter..it is the best thing in the world..I think pregnancy has taught me to expect the unexpected..neither of my pregnancies went like I thought they would..The first baby was very easy..:) She came out and never had a problem..The second is being a little more tempermental, but still doing GREAT. I am thankful for both girls either way :) I am also very lucky to have so much help. I never realized how much pain a c-section is...:0...Ok that is all I have time to write..time to go visit my baby..:)

Colette Got her first tooth! :) Hehehe..she is getting big!

Hmmm Bedrest is oh so exciting :) I have actually not had it too bad. I have had a lot of help and people stop by to visit me. I am thankful for my laptop. It keeps me busy when I am bored :) I tend to end up looking on craiglists a lot for used baby stuff. Don't make fun of me :)..I am also working on not eating late at night. My new goal is to not be eating past 7ish..it is working out pretty well because we don't keep anything really fun to eat in our house lol...I went to the doctor last week and they told me I have pregnancy diabeties..BLAH. So now I have to go back in the hospital for some 3 hour blood test to determine how bad it actually is. YUCK. I have to be on a special diet too because they are afraid the baby will get too big because of the diabeties. So yea that is the update on me. My husband is doing really good helping out..Sorry this post is not so exciting. Quite insignificant actually :) Oh well...I am excited that the holidays are coming..they will keep my mind off of all this stuff going on...Happy Voting Day tomorrow!

Funny Things My Baby Does

*she cries when we turn on AM radio in the car..she likes FM radio :)

*she dances when we turn on music in the house...(She prefers stuff like Santana and classical music)

*to wake us up in the morning she hits us..(baby hits) she also feels that being gentle to the cats means pulling on them..the cats tolerate this..

*she likes to help unload the dishwasher..

*she swims in the bathtub..and splashes a lot..

*she listens to mommy's tummy to hear her sister..

*she freaks out if one of us leave the room...she has to follow us everywhere!

*she has a baby cell phone that must go with her everywhere!

*she squeals when I come home from work..

*she loves other babies and loves to stare at them..

*to give kisses she bites our noses..sometimes sucks on our faces :)

Halloween was spooky around our house. Colette dressed up as a dragon. She looked hilarious. Then Bob took her out trick or treating. I am kinda sad because I feel like I miss out on things with her, but I know it will be back to normal eventually. We went to the doctor yesterday and I asked if I was allowed to go walking. I got a big no response from that. ARGH. So I am stuck. I am lucky though we have a lot of help from friends and family with Colette and everything. It has helped take the stress off a bit. Besides that I am kinda unsure what to do with my days. I get up..and then well that is the high point lol. ;) I am trying to have a good attitude about my bedrest. I mean once I have another child bedrest will be non-exsistent...:) I am just not used to not being busy. I think it is time for me to umm lay on the couch..:) Sorry I don't post a lot of pics on here, but I don't think the pics like me. They never work!!!
